A Dragon's Fury

Description
Heima is what's called a dawn fury. Her scales' camouflage works the best when she is flying with the sun to her tail fins. Her stiff underbelly is a pastel, sunny orange, which blends into a light pink, then a bright, sunlight yellow. Her feet have the same order of blending, and her sharp talons are a light, blush red. Her wings have the same blend, with the orange on the tips. Her back is an ocean blue, which fades into a sky blue to the yellow. Her eyelids have a naturally thick, black outline to them. Heima's slitted eyes are a bright, icy blue, but her pupils dilate when she is happy or relaxed. Her powerful plasma blasts are a sunny yellow and orange.
Personality
Being the very last of the dawn furies, Heima has taken to doing everything in her power to stay alive long enough to continue her sub-species in any way she can. Any strangers she meets, she's instantly defensive around them. She always either snaps at them to keep their distance, or she turns tail and flees. But, once she actually relaxes and realizes someone isn't trying to hurt or kill her, she becomes close friends really quickly. She views her friends as her new, extended family since she does not have her own anymore. If her family is picked on or attacked, Heima is quick o jump to their defense. She does flirt with any male furies, but she is very picky on who she will continue her bloodline with.
History
A pure, sky blue egg hatched at the top of a sun-warmed, rock mountain. The sunrise dragon blinked its large, ice blue eyes to find another dragon, worn and beaten, peering down at her. "You are Heima, home, because no matter where you go, you'll always have a home," her father told her. She chirped happily at him, only understanding that her name was Heima.
Her father's wings were crippled by an unknown Dragon Hunter, so he had to teach her how to survive from the ground. He taught her everything he knew, such as best way to fish, how to battle on the ground, how to sneak up on prey like sheep, and mimicry, which is a roar that can either sound like prey or larger dragons to protect herself. She had to learn aerial combat from other dragons, though. He never told her about her mother or how the other dawn furies died.
Sadly, Heima lost her last family member too soon. She had recently mastered her abilities and was on her way back from grabbing fish. She returned to see ships surrounding the island, and her father being taken away in a turquoise colored cage. She blasted the ships as they sailed away, and took out the men on the ship holding her father.
"Leave me, Heima. There is no way out. It's dragon proof. Destroy this ship so they cannot find my body," he ordered. She did as she was told, and watched as the final bubbles rose to the ocean's surface.
Since then, Heima has constantly been traveling island to island, hoping to find more dragons similar to her.
